This guide provides information and suggestions that will help you establish good communication with your child’s teacher and the school. Good communication makes it easier for the teacher to get to know your child and for you to understand what is happening in school.

Manufacturing Consent, Noam Chomsky, Edward S. Herman excerpt, ThinkingPeace
Manufacturing Consent, Noam Chomsky, Edward S. Herman excerpt, ThinkingPeace: "The mass media serve as a system for communicating messages and symbols to the general populace. It is their function to amuse, entertain, and inform, and to inculcate individuals with the values, beliefs, and codes of behavior that will integrate them into the institutional structures of the larger society. In a world of concentrated wealth and major conflicts of class interest, to fulfill this role requires systematic propaganda. "

The Crucible joins the rest of the world in celebrating the life of Joseph Hill.
My live Joseph Hill experience started one evening at the Linstead All Age School where The Soul Defenders played supporting role for Freddiy McKay as their song Picture On The Wall exploded across Jamaica and eventually the rest of the world. Hill was on percussion then.
Our condolences to his family. His music and the experiences we have shared will cause Joseph Hill - Culture to live on in perpetuity!
Visit The Culture Website for funeral arrangements and other important information.
