RE-THE ANNUAL CANADIAN REGGAE MUSIC AWARDS

Plans for the Twenty First (21^st) Annual Canadian Reggae Music Awards Presentation are now underway. This gala presentation will be taking place on Sunday, March 30th 2008 at 7 pm at the beautiful JAMAICAN CANADIAN CENTRE (Main Ballroom) which is located at 995 ARROW ROAD in TORONTO, ONTARIO. Apart from the AWARDS presentations, the show will feature some of Canada’s Top reggae stars and some international reggae superstars. Two weeks prior to the AWARDS presentation, there will also be a Showcase of some nominees and guests on Saturday, March 15^th 2008 starting at 9pm at the same venue.

Special AWARDS will include the Bob Marley and Peter Tosh Memorial AWARDS. Also special AWARDS of Merit will be presented to some of the outstanding individuals who have contributed to Reggae Music in Canada and Internationally. This year’s presentation will also include a Canadian Soca/Calypso and a Reggae Oriented Gospel Category.

For the past 20 years the AWARDS Presentation has been a tremendous success, each show has been sold out and we expect this year to be the same.
